Clubs Transfer

-    Athletes who wish to renew their registrations or re-register with HKASA under a different affiliated club from the one they currently belong to should do so by submitting to HKASA a standard Club Transfer Application Form, Transfer Registration Form and the appropriate club transfer application fee (HK$100 for the year 2003-2004).

-    After acknowledgement of receipt by HKASA of all necessary documentation and the appropriate fee, the athlete will be registered under the ˇ§new clubˇ¨ but will be suspended from HKASA competitions for one month, starting from the calendar date immediately following the date of receipt by HKASA.

-    The athletes can only represent their ˇ§new clubˇ¨ in HKASA competitions after the suspension period and in accordance with the specific rules and guidelines applicable to the transfer rules in the competitions concerned.

If for whatever reason the athlete wishes to withdraw his/her application for club transfer during the suspension period, he/she should inform HKASA in writing together with a letter addressed to the ˇ§old clubˇ¨ cancelling the request for changing of club membership. The application for club transfer will then be treated as cancelled and the athlete will continue to swim for the ˇ§old clubˇ¨ but the fee paid for the transfer application will not be refunded.
